Does your life match?
If you see a rich mans son, driving an old, dirty, beat up car… you’d most likely say, “that doesn’t make sense”, because the father has money. Or if you heard that a famous chefs son was dying of starvation, you’d certainly say, “that doesn’t make sense, how can he cook for others and not feed his own child?”
When we see things in life that don’t match up, we normally try to get to the bottom of it and if there is something we can say or do about it, we do it. And that’s how it should be, when you see things happening in your life that don’t match with what was promised for your life.
I remember one day some time ago, I went to visit a person, and this person had many Bibles opened on the tables in their house. When I say many, I mean many! But when you look at the life of this person, it certainly does not match with the Word of God.
That is a question that I believe everyone needs to ask themself… Does my life match with the Word of God? Is my life a reflection of God’s greatness? If someone looks at me today… can they see God?
How long have you known the Bible? How long have you read and even memorized scriptures? You’ve gone to church for years, but still battle addiction. Maybe you go to church on Sunday and praise and worship, but your life is a life of injustice and humiliation.
For this reason, we are praying day and night. As Jesus said,
“And shall God not avenge His own elect who cry out day and night to Him,..?” Luke 18:7
Right now, we are crying out everyday for those who need justice. Actually, we are crying out day and night. And Divine Justice never fails. That’s why on the 15th of September we will have the Day of Divine Justice. This is the day to determine to no longer accept a life that “doesn’t match”. It’s a day to give all to receive all. To call upon God and receive the just response to your complaint.
Those who believe in the Word of God, can not accept a life that doesn’t match with it. Not at all.
May the God of the Bible bless you
