Connecting with the thoughts of God
During 21 days, Daniel from the Bible decided to fast from certain foods in order to find favor, wisdom, and understanding from God. Nowadays, we are bombarded constantly by distractions that get in the way of our relationship with God, and they come in all forms of entertainment and secular information.
The Lord Jesus said, “He who has ears to hear, let him hear!” (Matthew 13:9) The purpose of the 21 Days – Fast of Daniel is exactly this: to open our ears to the voice of God.
During these 21 Days, you will have the opportunity to stay connected with God’s thoughts. You will have the chance of disconnecting from social media, internet and the things that consume your time and your attention but add nothing to your life, and you will be able to read and meditate more on the Word of God and seek for the Holy Spirit. God wants to give you the strength and peace you need.
The 21 Days began on December 28th and will end on January 17th. If you would like to take part in this purpose to bless your spiritual life, visit The Universal Church near you and speak with the pastor for more information.
