A challenge of faith
The challenge of faith of Mount Carmel is the greatest campaign for a complete life transformation. And this purpose is totally inspired by the Bible. In it, we find many examples of people who have experienced the power of God through sacrifice. And today, the countless testimonies found in The Universal church show that the Most High has not changed.
What is the Holy Fire of Israel?
First of all, we must understand that the Holy Fire of Israel is not just an improvement in life. In it, one becomes a means by which God manifests His power. That is why this campaign requires a spirit of revolt, faith, and sacrifice. For the blessings of God are manifested only in the lives of believers. It is the all of God, for everything of the person. It is a total surrender of life.
So it depends on how you present yourself to the Most High. In this way, a person’s attitude demonstrates whether or not he or she believes. It is not possible to deceive God, He knows the true intention of the mind and the heart of the person.
Generally, people want to achieve results from God. However, many are unwilling to do what He asks. Understand that it is not the will of the Lord that His people suffer. Rather, He wants to promote life in abundance. Since His Word adds, “The dead do not praise the Lord, neither do they that go down into silence.” Psalm 115:17
How does it work?
Understand that sacrifice does not just involve financial giving.
In the Holy Fire of Israel, one sacrifices sin, his desires and all that prevents him from attaining the grace of the Most High. God does not look at the condition of the person. He calls all and those who obey Him achieve miracles.
Why Mount Carmel?
This campaign will take place on Mount Carmel, located in Israel. It was in this sacred place that the prophet Elijah manifested the power of God. He lived during the reign of Ahab and Jezebel. This couple was abominable in the eyes of God. Just to illustrate, the Bible adds that before Ahab there was no worse king, while Jezebel his wife instituted among the people the worship of the false god Baal.
In addition to going against the Ten Commandments, worship of the false gods involved prostitution, mutilation, and even child sacrifice. In the meantime, Jezebel hunted down the prophets of God, and therefore Elijah was also persecuted by her. As a result, the reign of Ahab lived in great misery and people suffered. However, Elijah was determined to prove his faith in overcoming that problem. Then he challenged King Ahab,
“Now, therefore, command me to assemble all Israel on Mount Carmel; as also the four hundred and fifty prophets of Baal, and the four hundred prophets of Asherah, who eat of the table of Jezebel. “1 Kings 18.19
On Mount Carmel, before all the people, stood Elijah on one side and on the other the enemy prophets. And there, God has proved to all His power.
“And the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt offering, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked the water that was in the place. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces, and said, The LORD alone is God. Only the Lord is God! “1 Kings 18.38-39
In other words, when a person intelligently uses faith and applies it in the Bible, God has to manifest Himself.
Do you want the manifestation of God in your life?
No matter your religion or creed, it is enough for you to manifest your faith in the One that can transform your life.
